MEME, or Oh MY !
I’ve been memed by Linda Scanlan from
Ginger Wilcox, with Blog by the Bay started this meme for our outside blogs. I’ve played it in Activerain, but Ginger wanted us to do this on our outside blogs. So the rules are I am to share 7 things you might not know about me. This was not easy, since I’m so transparent already.
1) I hate amusement parks, well not the park itself, but scary rides, like roller coasters. Ask my husband I almost pinched his arm off once in
2) I went to four colleges and still managed to graduate on time in 4 years. I just didn’t change my major, Social Work, and all my classes transferred. (Ole’Miss,
3) My dream is to visit
4) I want to retire in
5) I hate snakes and spiders and almost stepped on one leaving a piano lesson with my daughter and now she is deathly afraid of them too. My younger brother, scared me with a spider ring one day, when I was around 8, I had nightmares all night so that instilled that fear in me and lasts until this day.
6) My favorite thing to do is be on my boat in the summer, reading a good mystery book and sun tanning. James Patterson and J.D. Robb are my favorites.
7) I cried when they carried Lloyd Carr off the football field when Michigan beat
Now my turn to “tag” seven people:
Who will be my victims???
Vance Shutes, from
Ricardo Bueno, The Industry Report.
Colleen Kulikowski, Buffalo Niagara Real Estate
Sally Cheeseman, Real Estate Blog Hawaii
Lenn Harley, HomeFinders

Missy, what a great job! Retiring by a lake in Tennessee sounds pretty good to me, too! I love your outside blog…you do a great job with it.

Well, we are more alike than I would of thought. Scary, I know:-) I used to get sick to my stomach on any type of high adrenaline ride so I stay away from that aspect of Amusement Parks all together. One of the few things I fear in life is snakes……..they make me freaking shiver!

Good post. You want to live near Nashville on a lake, I’m sure you will make soon. You know we sell real estate down here, if you want to semi-retire. I’m sure you would like the weather. It’s 71 degrees right now and overcast.

Missy,
I accidentally made it over here and see that I have been MEMEd!! :0)
I love learning more about you.
I love roller coasters, but last week I was on a mild coaster, in Disneyland, and got really, really sick.

Missy,
I love to read your blog posts, but both this site and your Active Rain blog take an eternity to load pages. Okay, eternity may be stretching it, but at least long enough to traverse the glassy sea. LOL
Thanks for your MEME!

I think it is the cluster map on AR, I have removed many widgets over there. Wonder what it is here?

Hey Missy… I’ve been to Scotland a few times and I can guarantee that you’ll love that place. Edinburgh is just one of the most beautiful cities I’ve seen. I mean, which city has an absolutely phenomenal looking castle on a hill right in the middle of the city?!!!
Copenhagen is a similar kind of city… beautiful, clean, cosmopolitan…
Haven’t been to Ireland yet but my wife visited with her parents. I guess your family is from there?
February 7th, 2008 at 8:44 pm
Lance, no I have no family from there, but I am Scotch-Irish and I just have a desire to go. It looks so beautiful and seems so warm and down to earth.

Ditto #3,5 & 6. I am absolutely petrified of snakes. I have encountered more than one rattler. Shudddder… I might not be able to sleep tonight just thinking about it! I can’t take credit for starting the meme- I was memed too!

That was fun to learn more about you – looks like you’ve got a great group participating – these are always so fun to read. At least you got to cry for the right reason at the Michigan – Florida game – lol
