Ann Arbor Market Data
Market Data for Ann Arbor, Michigan.
I have recently hired Altos Research to compile the market data for Ann Arbor and Saline Michigan. Any day now the data will be live and will update weekly. The last chart shows the amount of new homes coming on the market.
You can see that fewer homes are being listed right now. In fact it all looks pretty good except the sale prices continue to decline. However, less inventory is a good thing as will level out the supply and demand.
Typically, at least in the 13 years I have been a Realtor in the Ann Arbor Area, we are slow during the month of December. However, because of the economic crisis that hit us all in October, the November elections, we have seen really good activity during December.
Search the listings in the Ann Arbor Area MLS.

Congrats on the move to Altos Research charts, I love their product and ran into quite a few consumers who were very impressed with the up to date data. I know in my neck of the woods, the local MLS only updates once a month, so weekly is great information to include.
Your charts look very similar to what I’m seeing out here in Oregon, hopefully it’ll pick back up like usual too.

Nick, I set up a live page under Trends, it will change weekly, what do you think?

I think that’s a great way to do it. Unfortunately, with the downward trend right now, I probably wouldn’t want the charts and graphs prominently displayed on every page, but consumers want it available, so the Trends page looks great.
