Michigan Medicine Ranks #6 in the Nation
A 2017 study by US News & World Report places University of Michigan Hospitals among the top-performing hospital facilities in America. In an evaluation of 5,000 hospitals throughout the nation, the report recognizes only those that excel at caring for the most medically-complex patients. The study placed the University of Michigan at #6 in the nation and #1 in the state of Michigan.
University of Michigan Hospitals Make the Honor Roll
In addition to overall rankings, the study ranked hospitals based on specialties in both Adult and Pediatric care. Unsurprisingly, Michigan Medicine was nationally ranked in 15 adult specialties and 10 pediatric specialties, earning it a Gold Award in every category.
